Site Problems Thread

PMs keep popping up for me. I deleted the one that kept popping up (keep in mind I already read it). Then, the next last PM I had started doing the same. Deleted that PM, closed Sythe and re-opened it in a new tab. Still the same thing. No matter if I view it again, close it, click "ok" or "cancel" it keeps popping up sporadically. Quite annoying >.<

if you ban a user while they're on sythechat, they're not kicked from sythechat (should they be?)

User's signature contains a bad image URL that might be unsafe.
I've banned him for now, so the signature won't show up again.

Same, many people have noticed this as well. Quoting a post or opening a thread has been known to do this. Basically, any action that can reload the page

 

Pages never fully load? I click to a new thread and it spins forever trying to load like it isn't done. Anyone else?

 

Same here, sythe seems extremly buggy/laggy lately.

 

I'm getting this too.

I'm not sure if it's related but if I stop a page from loading it shows a broken image next to everyone's name when hovered over has the tooltip "SytheChat Status". I've noticed this for awhile now, & if a page fully loads without me stopping it from loading then it still shows as a broken image.

I can't seem to change my skin now even after this was closed, it always defaults to the new one.

 

It looks like richard patched the bug by always returning the new layout even when the style cookie is telling the server otherwise.

It doesn't matter anyway the new forum software is coming soon.

 

Sythechat not loading

 

Not sure if it's just me, but, whenever I click on the Skype icon, opposed to telling me said Skype/allowing me to add them, it opens up the option to send them a PM.
