Do You Play at Work?

I find myself doing an occasional slayer task, or talking to clan mates in game while I'm at work and am either A) Very Bored, or B) Don't have any pressing work to do. Granted I can't get into trouble since I am an independent contractor (I am my own boss) but I still feel a bit guilty when I do...though not too much haha.

Anyone else sneak in some Runescape time while they are at work?

 

During my internship last year I only logged in at the office once and that's because a gold mercher was offering an insane price for my eoc gold. I felt so bad the entire time and I was really paranoid that I was going to get caught haha.

 

Several years ago I worked overnights as the manager of a holiday inn. After performing my nightly financial audits and such I would literally do nothing but play games in my office until about 6am before I had to start checking guests out. I had a projector that I hooked my ps3 up to, or would stake all night on RS lol

 

Fuck no, I could never imagine playing any game at work. Unless on my phone during a break or something.

 

Well I don't work yet but I do play at school.

 

Not at work - But I used to play at school on my laptop while the teacher wasn't looking in year 7 and 8. Mostly only AFKing.

 

Same as Brendan, I played at School the times the teacher wasn't in the classroom or had a support teacher. Also did things like woodcutting and fishing when we was doing essay's etc on computers.

 

My previous job had an overly relaxed work rate so I would often AFK rocktails or merch, never tried training anything that required actual concentration.

 

Never played at work, but I used to play when I was bored during classes in college.

 

Never had a job before, am at College now. I used to sneak a bit of gaming in during high school. I'm going to stay well away from that during lectures though... I'd rather not cake my exams and waste thousands of dollars.

 

Probably a good idea, college is usually expensive no matter what you do, but a huge mistake if you piss it away by flunking out.

 

Lol, It's Weird that other people do this. I Have my own office in a 5 person office and just run nightmare zone in the background while working for 8 hours a day Monday-Friday. My boss rarely goes into my office anyways although I'm paranoid that I may get caught one of these days. (I hope you aren't my boss Kappa)

 

Never, not worth getting caught for a bunch of useless pixels.

 

I work as tech support at my college, nothing happens most the time so yeah I afk RS a lot there.

Hardly play much anymore. Back when I played a lot, I never had a job though. Although seeing where I'm at now, I likely wouldn't play at work if I ever got back into it. Too much to worry about in the office.

Haha this guys got it. I'm actually having trouble not playing in my office right now because I'm 300k from 99 Def >_<

 

Considering the amount of time I spend on Reddit, I really should be playing more but for some reason I don't. I think it's because you can get on and off Reddit with one click and you can read as much or as little as you'd like, whereas with RS one thing always leads into another...on top of that it looks a lot less like work than text-based websites do
