Need Help with account recovery

I previously had an account here under the name JimTheSoundman, but when I logged in, it said I had not used my account in over six months, and so I had to change my password.

Okay, that was fine, but when I typed in my email address, it said that address wasn't on file. I've had the same email account for like 10 or more years, it is the only one I use. So I tried to recover what email address I used, and it is scrambled, but it doesn't look 100% correct, so I'm at a loss, I don't know how to recover my account.

I obviously have made a new account, and I guess I can live with that, but I'd certainly prefer to have my old account back if at all possible. Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
