How long will it take for google to update search results?

Lets say if I google my name, there's a photo of me in google pictures. Not an embarassing photo or anything, but I just don't want photos of myself on google. I logged in on the site where my photo was displayed and deleted it. Now when I google my name, the photo is still on it. How long will it take to dissapear? Will it even dissapear?

 

Pretty sure it's archived, so i don't think it would be removed.. But it could go lower down the image list due to it not being there

 

I think Google's cache lasts for 15 days, no?

 

Generally, yes. However I've seen cases where crawlers have taken the image anywhere and it won't be able to be removed.
