No you should be fine. Just don't connect to a vpn server all the way in china

 

On the assumption that you're playing the game legitimately, you're just as safe as normal. If you are botting and someone else has been banned for activities on that VPN, it's possible that Jagex may be wary of it and have it flagged or something similar.

You should be fine. As long as it's not a free sketchy VPN located in an obscure place or China, and you're not drawing attention to yourself by botting or RWTing, you'll be in the clear

 

I had the same thing at my university. I'm pretty sure you are fine, I never had an issue for 2+ years. If you truly have nothing to hide that is.

You should be fine, also got a question regarding the vps you're using, do you lag while playing runescape? The last VPS I had didn't support Java very well and made it very hard to even click on Runescape, need a new one.

 

Same problem here. There was always a delay betweeen clicking, and my character actually doing it but when I went off the VPS it was fine. Thing is because of my current circumstances I need one to play so keeping my eyes open for another one.

 

VPS or VPN? I always struggle on a VPS, VPNs I don't notice a thing.

 

You should be completely fine. There could be 1 RARE exception; someone on your campus used the EXACT VPN and ALSO got FLAGGED for botting. Usually 1 bot ban doesn't flag your IP.

So unless you have a student that is goldfarming off of your Uni's IP, you're fine.
