I think i participated in the best staking days of runescape. These were all taken right after free trade had been released. I staked some of the most famous runescape players and walked away up billions.

 

I wish I had my old pc's HDD back. I had some crazy ass pictures there back when you could get pid by following people. Those were the days... Nice wins man, glad you could walk away being up; most people struggle with that.

 

I made 6b in 2 hours! Gold back then was valued @.75/m Retail and I sold for .50/m to Nick for W/u.

 

Yeah, duel arena treats people right sometimes. I've been up 2b 07 one day, yet down 1.5b the next xD.

 

Damn, some fun stakes back in the day I see haha. Not too long ago I lost 5B rs3 in the duel arena, my first experience ever staking in large numbers. Never again, i swear @.@

 

I'm in that boat fam. I lost once, never did it again.

Would you say overall you're up quite a bit Hattez? Or are you only showing your winnings and not your losses

Overall though. Not just this specific session

 

2005-2007 and 2011-Pre-Eoc was a riot. I've spent over a year in game time on RS, but I honestly don't regret it because of how competitive and fun those eras were, and, of course, the real life money that came with it. I don't know if that sort of environment will ever be replicated again in the MMO world, given the trend to microtransaction based gaming.

I rose to the top of the Staking, Gambling, Pking, and Crucible scene. Some highlights from my pvp domination. 5b+ profit from pking [Over 5000 kills, 0 deaths in max gear], 10b+ profit staking [Steel Titan god, 99 summoning, 102+12 combat], former rank 1 Duel tournament in the restricted trade era before reverse boosting to continue staking for profit.

I previously had 3.5k subs on youtube, when only uploading about once per month, and held 250+ viewers on Pking streams on own3d.tv prior to their closing, and a similar amount on Twitch

I ended up facing off against & winning fights against many other famous pkers, including Win All Day (smited for claws), The WomD (DH set in crucible, 10+ cb levels on me), Bonesaw pk, iPk Insanely/Pitiful, Skill specs (downed for 50m+ in red port, 20 cb levels)

They do look like some good memories. Even still a decent bank nowadays! Not the most ludicrous I've ever seen, but certainly very respectable

Yes i went up approximately 14b profit. I sold 4b here to Nick and some large portions on PA. Years ago i created a thread which lead to one of my accounts getting recovered with a few bil. I also bought a account that got recovered for 1.5b

 

Being in teamspeak with a bunch of guys and all holding our breath for the next flower, when we'd win we'd explode, man those were the times lol

I can imagine. Going up 14B RS3 in a single staking session is pretty insane. Heard of a bettor who went up like 60B in one of the commission staking clans in RS3. I believe that is more taking into account gold prices at both times; however, just to imagine a free... what... 5,000-6,000$...

 

It was 20M RS3 to 100B+ in 2 days .
Plenty of others have done the same, a guy turned 48M to 14B (this same guy turned 200M to ~25b before). It's about when people decide to stop, it just that not many people carry on yoloing after they reach a few bill.

I remember your old thread Hattez, these are pretty cool wins. Sadly (or maybe it's a good thing?) I didn't really get into staking pre eoc because I didn't have a maxed account, but I still miss the preeoc era so much. It was just a more fun game, and it's too late for RS to go back =/ Oh well, it'll live on in our memories I guess.
