The border thing around the C and O seem to be broken into bits, while the rest of the Welcome seems to have straight intact lines, for the most part. But overall, me gusta ^-^

 

Love how visually appealing this layout is, great job man.

 

Also, maybe make the ZuneArts "Sythe exclusive" a bit more visible? Don't want to squint to read it, nor do the buyers ^_^. Love the colors/flashiness of it.

 

Show examples/make a portfolio

 

Agreed. Would be nice to have a link and section already incorporated for people to easily view a portfolio. This is an entirely different layout, but just so you get the jist of what I mean:

^ Like how he incorporates a section for his previous work. I'd suggest just a portion or box of the layout labelled like "Click here for my portfolio" that links to like imgur or something

There are examples on your thread but they're full size. Stature is an important aspect of design too and it largely shows importance. Your example pictures are full size and there are that many of them that they actually take up more size than your designed thread layout itself creating a conflict in the thread and making it look too busy. By re-sizing and incorporating some examples of your work into the layout itself artfully, you can give them a taste of your capabilities without choking potential customers with them.


Lastly I'd say your typography for "Zune Arts" needs to change. The colors for font in the layout are quite vibrant yet Zune Arts blends into the background. It's literally your brand and identity yet it doesn't stand out, that should be remedied.

 

I can barely read Sythe Exclusive on the bottom - is that what it says? Maybe bolden the text or something?

 

Why would sythe exclusive need to be bold? It's probably the least important text on the thread.

I'd strongly consider having the background glow effects match the colors of your text. The main 3d text is awesome, wouldn't change a thing but those colors not matching throws me off a little. Otherwise, maybe to add some texture to the shape everything is on, consider adding a sidewalk (something rough) texture in an overlay layer to add a little more depth. Overall, it's pretty damn solid I'd say.

 

This, a big flaw with some people is they don't listen to what people have to say. Especially since you'll have to be doing what people want, rather than what you want.

No need to bold it, just increase the opacity a little

Honestly, going to disagree with pretty much everything you said. You don't want the entire layout the same color, and those colors match very well.

The texture is meh, it's not needed, especially the way he designed it.

 

I have a suggestion, instead of trying to color match sythes theme, why not leave your background transparent? Its not that big of a deal on something like this but on other graphics its pretty important. Less file size is happiness streamline things Looks good though, I agree with what someone else said that the effects on the right side look a bit distracting, ethier even it up on both sides or dont do it imo. For me it just throws the whole thing out of wack to my eyes.

 

Only thing I don't like is the welcome sign, the lines around the letters look patchy (like they aren't connected properly). It just looks dirty to me, the rest of it looks great though so props on the amazing work!

 

See, now this is a lot better, the white welcome text can even be a bit brighter white.
