Interested in getting involved.

I've been a member of sythe for quite some time now, and up until recently I never did much of anything besides buy and sell runescape related stuff. The past month or two though I have really been spending a lot of time on the forums surfing the different sections and for the most part just reading posts and seeing who the core community kind of consists of and getting a feel for everything. Never been a dedicated "forumer" (for lack of a better term) but I find myself sometimes spending hours on my cpu or iphone exploring all the different sythe features, and I'd really like to get more involved in the community aspect of the site.

I'm not an experienced seller for any markets and don't have any set plans to start up a business on sythe as of yet, but it is something that I would explore down the line if the opportunity came up. I do really enjoy Barbarian Assault and pretty much just play it for fun whenever I'm on OSRS, and I think it'd be really cool to somehow work for one of the BA shops or start my own. So if anybody had any feedback on who to talk to or what I'd need to do to make that happen that'd be really awesome.

Idk wtf else to say so I guess a little information about me: I'm 21 years old. Live in California. Been playing RS since 2004. Music i listen to is punk rock, metal, electronic, and some rap (mostly older stuff like a tribe called quest, the pharcyde etc). Favorite movie is SLC Punk, and the LOTR trilogy. I love animals, and I'm scared to death of spiders. So yeah, I really dont know wtf to say in my "introduction" but I feel like I'm in show and tell so im just going to stop there. So expect to see me posting here and there, and I'm looking forward to meeting some chill people here. Thank you


EDIT: If anyone needs workers for any runescape related services (BA, questing, skilling etc) I am willing to work doing whatever. I've been around runescape a while and know a lot about the game so I can pretty much do anything except get firecapes (never attempted and probably never will). Willing to go through trials to show experience or pay deposits if need be for whatever reason. I'd just like to boost my reliability anyway I can. I have no experience in starting from scratch with no reputation so any feedback helps.

Becoming a part of the community is definitely a great thing to do, before long you'll be super hooked and always wanting to contribute by posting your opinion, etc.

Anyway, OP, the spam forum is usually a good place to start to get your name out there and become a 'regular' or 'well known' sythe user like myself or fishfishy for example.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the warm welcomes. I've spent a decent amount of time skimming the spam section and It's definitely different from all the other sections. From what I see, everyone's a tight knit group in there of either new or old users, and as much as I'd like to think of myself as an old user I know I really can't. It also seems like the type of group where you'll get rekt pretty quick if you come in as a new guy trying to act like you've been there all along. So until I earn some sort of recognition in the community, I think I'll tread lightly in the spam section so I don't destroy any chance at being a regular on sythe I had lol.

Guess it's about 8 years too late to say "welcome" lol but I hope you enjoy getting a bit more involved as for the Barb Assault stuff.... Don't know that many people that genuinely like doing it for fun, so I would recommend perhaps starting off a free/small fee service for it then once you have a few vouches and are a renowned BA God, start charging a little more and make some BANK!
