Looking to clea(r/n) up my IP history

I checked the IP audit thing and 1. there are a lot of IP addresses there, and 2. there are some accounts that I do not recognize. I was hoping that I could clear this up to make sure I am not at any fault because I want to get more involved in the forum.

To set the IP issue straight, I go to school in another area than my home address and have had my IP switch there because of dorm switches, moving off campus, coming home, etc. I also occasionally log in accidentally while my VPN is on, it is an honest mistake although I am not sure if that causes an issue.

To highlight the accounts listed on my audit I will post them below.

The account 'Inc0ming' is my account. I created it when I did not know my sythe password and I had spoken to a mod/admin about it a long time ago and they told me it was ok that I had it, and then I reset this account's password when I verified my identity and never used that one again.

The IP audit is based off of similar IPs; mobile IPs, proxies, etc.

You will never be banned on an IP audit alone; you have nothing to worry about.

 

Yeah, I figured as much. I did want to just have the post out there though. I got banned for some dumb shit a while ago and I think things like transparency would have prevented that from happening. So now this is there for everyone to see.

 

thanks for the thread, duly noted. just fyi, it's unlikely that you'd get banned for matching someone naughty's ip but can't hurt to be safe!
