    The production pool has been reduced slightly, it's not broken.

    We need servers in a particular data center where our other servers are (for latency reasons.) Unfortunately out of our three hosts only one has excess capacity there that they are willing to sell us. To avoid building the new production pool out of nodes from a single provider I've taken two of the other provider nodes out of production to place in the new pool.

    It needs to be Web scale or it won't scale. Sql is dead and uses disk so it's io bounded. Just use Mongo and it only uses memory so it's fast and webscale. Just rewrite everything in node. It's Javascript so it just works and isn't shit like c or c++. No one uses those shitty languages anymore and for good reason. I can't wait for Linux to switch to node and it will be so much faster

    Node is Javascript sk clearly it is self hosting and runs itself. Soon the kernel will run in the cloud instead of locally. Local programs are dead and everything will have to be written in node to be webscale using Mongo since it's webscale. Or you can write stuff in other languages and it will compile to asm.js because that's what runs everything and what the kernel will be written in because it's Web scale
