I have some higher level armor and weapons though. I think I put like 3 or 4 bil into investments

I haven't really prepared for the skill, as I don't play RS3 anymore, however due to my past enjoyment of the game I've been following its progress still, and am really happy with how Jagex have gone about with invention. It actually looks like a fun and exciting skill to train compared to the standard "Click here and then here," with the same result each time.

 

Is the skill going to be an opt in/out one or have things changed since the RuneFest announcement?

 

Since I don't know what you are talking about, likely no opt in/out. Otherwise I'd have some info on it.

 

No idea what to invest in. Haven't put enough time into researching this. What sort of items are expected to increase in value and why? I certainly won't be taking part in Invention lol

 

Well whips nearly 300k each now, most weapons have risen a bit.

Quite honestly I think it's going to be a much better skill than Divination. Requires a little bit more thought and they've gone down a different road that makes it seem interesting.

Guess you can't tell till you use it though. I'll pull out my old RS3 account to give it a go.

 

Looks like it will be very fun figuring out all the different stuff


I was planning on rushing 99/120 and try to be one of the first, but it seems like inventor is being released right when college gets back in.

 

Yeah, the current plan's the 25th of January, so there's a little less than a month to go. Might slow down the ability of some people to power through it.

 

I really wish the requirement for 80 divination weren't there to unlock the ability to train invention. Now I won't be able to participate at all for the foreseeable future =/ The skill looks really cool, I wish I could. Oh well, I guess I could always hire a skiller.

 

What's your divination level hombre? I enjoy me some good divination every once and awhile ^-^
