Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

I'm building a program, and I need diections on which language(s) and IDE to use.

Basically my program is: A binder in which you flick through to order items(it will be an in-store program), and you can make multiple binders for specific products (or specific price ranges).

I'm thinking a Visual C++ with Windows Forms. What do you guys think?

Sorry if my explanation is confusing, I have an issue where there's a disconnect between my brain and text output. Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

Devices: I only plan on running it on PC's. Mobile devices are much too small GUI-wise. Platforms: Windows 7+

Use C#. C++ is great, but is pretty silly to use with the .NET framework in any capacity. C# will give you ease-of-use, practicability, and still allow you to use WinForms or WPF if you want to do some fancy shit.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that anything .NET can be done with Visual Studio, but if you're a stickler for legit software and don't want to pay the license fee or use Community Edition then I'd suggest SharpDevelop.
