This happened around 4 years ago. A friend and I were into luring and posted a post to attract other "lurers" in an attempt to counter lure them. Wolfdog was the first and only that took the bait and after a few weeks of chatting with him on Skype, he agreed to a ~20M risk or so. Due to the increasing number of people leaving clan chats when betrayed in purple portal, my luring partner and I decided to have one of us DDOS the victim to keep them from leaving.

After luring Wolfdog, we called everything cool and continued to chat on Skype for several weeks until he sent me a fishy link. On visiting the link, I was met with a message saying the website had been removed due to a possible virus in the website. I told him I'd be filing a scam report and I did. He retaliated by filing a scam report against me, which I agree was completely justified.

I was the mastermind behind the idea, but was not the one DDOSing. This doesn't excuse anything. I'm simply laying out how it worked.

Here I am 4 years later. I've grown out of my shady habits. I fell out of the video game blackmarket world for many years to pursue real life goals. Here I am years later, realizing what a jerkoff I was. Of all the places I had to lure from, luring from Sythe was one of my least rewarding and biggest mistakes I made being a scumbag.

I honestly cannot provide proof of paying the victim back, though I certainly did. I had previously purchased a rank in the Legends Dyce dicing chat and he refused to allow me to continue dicing unless I paid Wolfdog back the gold I'd lured off of him. It being 4 years after the fact, those screenshots are long gone. If Legends Dyce is still around in any way, he may (or may not) be able to vouch that the ~20M I lured from Wolfdog was returned.

Either way, I would like to return to Sythe. I was never a massively contributing member. I made a handful of trades on Sythe, but was certainly no star member. I see the market today being vastly different than it was before and would like to make a return if the globals and admins wouldn't mind.

I'll not try to ban evade even if this appeal fails. I acknowledge my wrongs and fully admit fault to what was a way over the top scheme to rip off another member of Sythe. The only thing I have to go from is your trust, which I've done little to nothing to gain.

I understand that. It was a brief stint of an 18 year old me. I don't expect to change your mind on the matter, but that a long gone behavior. I have no proof of it being gone other than my word.

Also, I've used the name Khryll here and there from time to time, yes. A quick google search shows that I made an account named Khryll here. I legitimately do not recall making the account or what I did with it. I sure it was nothing mischievous, though. I would have mentioned that if I recalled it, but years have passed and I've mostly moved on from sitting in front of my computer every day. Sorry it wasn't mentioned.

@Video This is something I PM'd an admin about at the time. Since I don't have access to the Good Times account, I cannot recall who I sent the PMs to, but I told the entire deal to an admin after it happened.

Gregislacross was selling a transfer method that was ~100M an hour or so. He put a price tag of 120$ on it under the condition that it was only to be sold to a single buyer. He and I spent a few days in contact with each other and I decided to throw down the 120$ for it. He requested access to my teamviewer and sent himself 120$ from my paypal account (which I allowed). I posted a vouch in his vouch thread about the trade which he immediately deleted, saying that he didn't want people "hounding" me over the guide.

The next day, he was selling copies of the same transfer method at 15 dollars each. I requested I be refunded the difference of 120$ instead of 15$. After days of being ignored, numerous PMs sent, and days of frustration that I'd just given him 120$ on something he leaked for basically nothing considering how valuable it was, yes - I spent many hours on the phone with paypal to get the charge reversed. I offered to give him the 15$ like he was selling it to everyone else, but he never responded.

The admin I PM'd said he'd get back to me on the situation but never did. I immediately contacted an admin because I wasn't going to set myself up to be scamming him. The entire thing was very fishy. He seemed to have went totally MIA shortly after.


So, aside from that subject. I've not touched much in the terms of anything blackmarket or even RuneScape related in years. I know what I did was shitty. I'm not really about that anymore. I respect the decision either way.

 

I actually remember greg selling such a method and this explanation seems very believable. I'll support your pardon
