Hey folks! Ready for another festive challenge? 'Tis the season to be jolly no matter who, what, or where you are! Sythe is made up of members from every continent (my henchmen and I even live in the cold one) and it's time we express our local traditions and cultures during the holiday season. What better way to show what you do than with photos, eh? We here at the North Pole want to see how you can show off your local decorative talent. Show us what you got!

Now I realize that I have an advantage living in the North Pole and whatnot, so I'll go ahead and forfeit my right to a prize.



How to Participate​

​

• To enter simply post your picture (must be taken by yourself and after the event started) here on this thread for everyone to admire
  
• You'll need proof that its your photo if it's hard to believe
  
• If you don't celebrate Christmas don't worry, you can take a winter photo or some other variation based on your culture or religion.
  
• Some examples of what you could enter: a big Christmas tree in your local mall, a silver menorah on your dining room table, your neighbor that spent way too much on Christmas decorations, or even something more interesting like a specific cultural practice in your homeland.
  
• Only 1 entry per person (make it count)

Prizes:​

• 1st Place: $100 + 3 additional prize points + Christmas 2015 minirank
• 2nd Place: $60 + 2 additional prize points + Christmas 2015 minirank
• 3rd Place: $40 + 1 additional point + Christmas 2015 minirank

I'll be entering this one just need to find someone to take the picture lol

 

It's easy to take the picture yourself, just take a photo of the scene yourself and then in a second picture put a piece of paper with your Sythe name and date on it and make sure it's clear that it's the same place. That is, unless you were trying to get festive and get in the pic yourself

 

Taken on a phone with a bad camera during a blizzard at night so..

 

The good old family christmas tree, if anyone sees any personal information on in the phote please let me know!

 

If only it snowed in california..

 

There's mine , that's how our tree downstairs looks, multi color'd lights .

Also has presents & 2 santas on polarbears .

Just started putting up the faux tree with the family! Had a blast, we all put on christmas sweaters and made hot coco. Was a little hesitant after it burned down last year but one can only be hopeful around this festive season.

Got my name on that santa hat, made dat sht like 15 years ago, and attempted to hide a piece of paper with the date right under it, kinda have to zoom in or stare at it a bit though lol

My friends and I fooling around at a White Elephant Christmas Party this past weekend haha, not going to tell you which one is me tho

Found this on the way home from driving to work, an apartment complex full of lights. 1st photo is entry, 2nd is a better quality (as I didn't have to get light to see the piece of paper with my name on it).
