I personally believe Blueskittle shouldn't have to pay because Oakdice doesn't rwt so the ban was a mistake Kappa

 

Nobody has hard and concrete evidence to claim that Bleu's post was the direct reason for Oakdice's ban, perhaps it was pure coincidence, perhaps not.

But because they don't have that concrete evidence I personally don't believe he should be punished, in the terms of paying 30M //dmm account worth back. Going off Sythe and trying to ruin Oakdices reputation in that form, that punishment should definitely be up to debate, for the staffs.
It's not like Jagex is going to reveal the proof or reason or decision behind the ban.

Perhaps they didn't think you was RWT'ing beforehand, it could just be pure coincidence, unless either of you find out via Jagex, it'll just remain a claim that he's the reason behind your ban.

 

Even most newcomers know that they shouldn't link there runescape accounts to their black market trading. Anyone can potentially build up information against anyone who leaves themselves exposed like that, it's just common sense. If bleu didn't take credit for this action, oak would be runescape banned and bleu would be trouble free. I believe bleu didn't believe he was breaking any rules and simply wanted to prove to oakdice that he was a moron, by raising unneeded attention to himself.

Anyway, if bleu is to be punished it should be a temporary punishment. I think he already learned from this mistake.

Coincidences happen every day. There is zero proof that Oakdice's account was banned because of Skittles post. I could buy someone's account and lets say it gets recovered. I make a report stating the account was recovered with 1bil 07 on it. I have to be able to prove the gold was on the account right before it was recovered. Doesnt matter what "speculation" is being discussed. This website runs on facts and proof. Oakdice rwt's all the time even though he denies it. It is just as likely the ban was a result of past rwt. Jagex has been widely known to have delayed bans. Show actual evidence that his post resulted in his account being banned... You cant prove it, case closed. The only thing that is debatable is how long he should be banned for. 1-6 months is the most appealing ban time table in my opinion. If you want to give him the option of accepting blame. Then allow him to repay the 30m DMM and be unbanned instantly. These are the only valid options available to staff in my opinion.

It's educated speculation, based on the fact that the account was made for many months and the ban was made a few hours after the reddit post that hit frontpage of /r/2007scape.

Why is proof like "did you get gold?" "accepted ty" in skype chat logs ok when there's no actual evidence that the gold was delivered? Again, it's educated speculation. There's no actual proof, but the facts we have lead us to believe that was the reason.

Of course the oak/skittle case is a lot muddier than that but that's the idea.

Why should he have to refund you for that? It's fucking ridiculous, Sythe staff will probably enforce it though because they don't know any better.It's no ones fault but your own that you were banned, you broke game rules and were punished it's as simple as that... so what if someone exposed you. He was able to find information that you're claiming got you banned when the truth is JaGeX would've had 10x the information on you.

You just need to quit crying about your loss of pixels and actually take responsibility, the fact that he's even banned is complete bullshit and if the current staff actually had balls and weren't all sheep then he wouldn't be but sadly that's not the case. Furthermore I might be blind but I'm failing to clearly see what blueskittle has done anywhere in the rules, there's no concrete proof he got your account banned... Maybe I emailed JaGeX with proof or maybe someone you did a trade with(I don't really care if you did RWT or not) reported you or was a player mod.. there's so many possibilities.

Here's a question for the staff:

• User A pays User B to train his account.
• User B bots on the account.
• User C reports User B for botting.
• User A's account gets banned.

So who would be responsible? Sure User B botted but he might not have gotten banned if User C didn't report him and who's to say that he wasn't banned because of the report?

You're active on powerbot & sythe and both are actively monitored by Jagex, you can't blame stupidity on your part on other people. If you don't want to be associated with rwting you probably shouldn't be on the 2 largest black markets with active rwters.

It doesn't only include actually trading the gold for other goods but includes advertising black market sites which can be seen on your website. Also purchasing cube on powerbot a black market site is contributing to rwting. Read theor stance properly, if you bought the name from rs forums it would be a lot different than from a gold seller who traded gold for a name.

Don't push your negligence on other people, stop linking yourself on rs to black market forums and they'll probably stop banning you.
