YESSS LOL, I knew when I had him banned for scamming he was a piece of scum then, does not surprise me a bit.


As for bleuskittle, I still disagree with his ban but its none of my business, I just don't see reporting someone for rwt as a offence, its a scum move sure, but I would of thought it would of fell under the "free market" clause, is it a scum thing to do and pisses people off?Yes.

But their committing a legitmate offence and reporting your competition in the market whether to spite them or not seems to me at least it falls under sythes free market, I'd never do it because I like to imagine myself as having morals, but I wouldn't be surprised a bit if other rwters report people from time to time :l, I just see it as a "it's just business" kind of thing but again, not my problem, But I mean, that's the risks u take when u RWT lol, bans and people reporting you are part of the business, I just ultimately think sythe might of called it a free market thing like the "customer poaching" situation via PM, its scummy, people hate u for it, u cause ur competition to lose business(much like if they got banned on RS), yet its still allowed.

Believe me, I'm no big fan of Bleushittle, but I still think sythes policy's are getting more and more confusing tbh, things no longer seem clear whats punishable and whats not(to me at least).

 

It's the equivalent of reporting someone on a rsps for selling gold here.

 

Idk, it seems pretty severe to me. If you're going out of your way to cause someone to lose money that's not much different to scamming. The person getting them banned gains nothing, but it's the same outcome for the victim.

Also wasn't poaching against the rules?

OT: I didn't see Gyzo's ban coming but I didn't really know him. I took a quick look at his vouch thread and it seems like he's one of those people who trade large traders to collect a ton of cheap vouches.

Anyone know when IBDB is next able to pardon? He seemed like a genuine guy who just made some mistakes, I kinda miss him being around while lurking.

He has to prove he had the gold on his account and that the ban was 100% because of skittles reddit post. He most likely has screen shots of his stock on his account and some vids. However proving that he was banned from skittles post can never be confirmed. Skittle shouldnt be made to repay oakdice from pure speculation/thread

 

I agree. I thought this forum needed hard evidence and not speculation when considering bans and there is literally no hard evidence/causation in terms of oakdice getting banned because of bleu

 

To say he wasn't banned due to the thread is speculation as well. At the end of the day, bleushittle did something that he shouldn't have, which coincidentally resulted in a user being banned on Runescape. He should have to face the music and pay up.

I don't really know, then all gold sellers would be buying small amounts of gold from their competitors and then reporting the accounts to Jagex for RWT, getting a mule banned each time. Hell maybe some already do but weren't as public as bleu was about it.

Seems like he'll be able to re-pardon as soon as he repays the large debt he owes TTB.

 

Sooner than later, I imagine. He talked to me recently on skype about hockey, unrelated to this though. His debt should be paid by the end of January ro so (if my memory serves me correctly). He wants to get back into the community I've heard.

 

No thread, it played out via Skype, questing can detail it if he wishes. It was essentially he got caught in a lie whilst trying to pull a fast one
