Im opening a goldfarm.

Hello! (from the other side)

I am planning on opening a goldfarm run by macros.
I'd have about 12 bots 14 hours a day making me 21b yearly aka 4000€.

Now i have a few questions.
(let's say i use a very human-like macro that should be nearly impossible to detect unless jagex uses spyware)


1. What's the better option?
Making 12 new accounts a day, or making them once a few days, changing them randomly.


2. VPN?

If i order a dual core, 2gb ram and 100mbps internet speed VPN would i be able to connect with all my clients to their IP adress(es) making jagex see their IP instead of my own IP? And also, how many IPs can you make with the IPv4 adress they give you? Or is it a single IP. And how much can you change your IP ?

3. 14 hours a day.

I'd bot from 22 at night to 12/14/15 the next day.
Would i be found banned or would it work if i'd stay on populated or very empty private places?

 

Operating an goldfarm can be both risky and very profitable. Theres several rules i followed when i had my goldfarm and it worked pretty good. Make sure to use different IPS for your accounts. I would use 2 accounts per ip-adress. Make sure your botting client offer breaks at random intervals. Wear items on yout bots, will reduce player report rates since they don't suspect you botting as frequently.

Lastly collect your botting profits regularly to avoid losing it if banned. Follow a few of these rules you should expect to make some profit.

Dual core 2gb for that many bots? Not a chance it would run that.

You could connect everything on the VPS' IP. It would not be your home IP.

You can only make 1 IPv4 address out of an IPv4 address, maybe the question could be better rephrased?

I offer 1 free IP change per month, after that they're $2 per IP change. Not sure what some other companies are.

In all honesty, as it's a Goldfarming venture 14 hours a day is probably fine. You really can't go any lower, otherwise it's you're not getting enough reward. Obviously it's enough that it may make Jagex suspicious, but it's not like you're suiciding so you should be able to delay Jagex flagging you.

I would be very careful on RS3. Accounts created and then instantly botting/gaining a lot of xp/money are flagged very quickly.

 

Haha don't start making yearlong plans for money.

Bans can happen quick and unexpectedly, I'd start smaller and see what works before starting something larger scale.

 

Adding to that you'll also be really discouraged if you start something long-term and get banned within the first week. It's better to start small and add bots rather than to throw them all in at the same time.

 

Definitely. Try 1 bot for a couple different methods. Try some different scripts. The beginning to a botfarm is all about figuring out what scripts and what methods work best for you. After that, slowly grow and you'll see the money roll in ^-^

 

A few friends and I started our farm with one bot each. We slowly added another one each week or so and it grew to about 15 each. It makes it a lot easier to ensure you don't have any losses. So I'd follow Dunworry and PureAddictions advice there too.

 

Slowly ramping up your op also has the benefit of giving you the experience you need for when something unexpected happens, like a script break or selling resources/transferring gp to mules.

 

seems like you would get a ban really fast botting at those hours
