Ban Rate While Botting?

I doubt that 100%, you must have been banned before. I honestly have never seen anyone on a fresh ip with no relation to a bot be banned. They don't ban for just logging in. I played on a bot for 3 months before i downloaded osbuddy.

 

Yeah, I'm not sure I can believe that either. Doesn't make any sense.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if your I.P is flagged.

 

My last remaining question continues to slip away unanswered.
So jagex can now detect clients. That's shitty.

What about a basic autoclicker for high alching?
It's not a client, or anything close.
It's a very very basic computer program that clicks in the same spot at a specified time interval.
I find it hard to believe you'd be caught doing this if you did it responsibly?

 

well rates are different, when u using private scripts then rates are much lower or paid scripts

Isn't their a logout feature if you don't move the mouse at all and you only click after like 5 minutes?

Might be better to use a mouse recorder. I have no idea with regards to its safety though.

 

I've been banned on an account previously for macroing with auto clicker alching.

On the other hand I've known a few people to download a auto alch premium client and have done a few 55-94/99 alching with it

 

Unless you have an extremely crafty private script, botting is a 100% banrate.

Okay. I am a scripter, so let's clear some things up. No, they can't detect clients. They can detect if your character, while botting, appears to be seeing through objects they shouldn't be and clicking on them. This would mean it was reflection or injection. A good bot using these methods won't be caught.

Second. Jagex makes a color map of the movements your character makes ( or so we think ). So if a pattern is repeated the color of the map will get darker in that area. If you click in the same place every time, at the same rate, the color will be extremely dark and send out flags. Again, a good bot won't have these problems, but an auto clicker certainly will.

Third. All the money I have made from sythe has been from one bot I wrote months ago. Botting is at the point where jagex can't catch it if you invest in a good script. They are starting to play the game more realistically than humans in some cases. If you are getting banned, use a good script and make sure it has realistic human movement.

Fourth. DON'T DO THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER. Even if you have a good bot, if you always log in the same, and do the same kind of things on different accounts, jagex will group this play style together and ban you for botting. For example, if you are botting sharks...start some at the fishing guild, some at catherby, have some fish swordfish. Have different wait times for every account.

Blah I am sure this is a mess. Botting is honestly a lot better than it was in the past and it is almost at the point where jagex won't be able to catch it.

 

I'm going to have to disagree with this. When low-scale scripting and going for short periods of time, botting can go undetected.

I'm currently in the market for an nmz script, but I've heard those have an extreme ban rate so I'm looking for an exclusive one. Any thoughts?

 

It would definitely lower the chance of people reporting you, which may bring you to Jagex's attention faster.

 

Find someone to make you a script, or learn how to modify your own. I make all my scripts play exactly how I would. I have them randomly log out sometimes, I have them use an auto responder, I have them afk sometimes. Remember, the key with botting isn't being as efficent as possible, it is having the game played while you aren't online to play it. So sacrifice some xp and ensure that you don't get banned. If your script isn't used by anyone else, and there are more obvious botters than you, odds are you won't get banned. Do anything in your power to avoid making dark spots on the color map I mentioned before. Also quest points and random skilling helps so much. Plus letting accounts sit between stages of your bot farm is paramount. Run them through tutorial island, let them sit a day. Get them to 30 30 30, let them sit a day. It will take longer, but in the end, your account won't get banned and you'll have it. Also don't repeat the same process with every account. Have a couple different build styles, and use them randomly. Lastly, Jagex looks at IP location, if your ip is from a heavily botted part of the world, they will ban you. Although, I've found making accounts on heavily botted IP's is a good choice if you have a good script because they are already looking at your account, and if they don't see the same shitty bot working, following the same pattern, they ignore your account for the most part.



Do I still receive bans every once and awhile? Ofc I do. Normally due to Bot busters though. The mods in the game. I am fairly confident that I bypass all automatic detection atm.

If you have more specific questions PM me. I have been keeping records of all my accounts and what got them banned. I have a fairly good Idea of what Jagex does when monitoring accounts.

 

Interesting responses, I didn't realized Jagex had been cracking down harder. I've been running 2 bots off and on, trying to build a pure in OS. I'm running 1 archer and 1 melee and I figured as long as one of them lasts I'll be happy. They're only about 55-65 in their respected levels so far though. I was hoping to get ~90 on them before one of them gets banned... is this unlikely? I only bot for a maximum of 8 hours a day on each, trying to stay off the radar.
