    Yeah, if users aren't motivated to actually use the Teamspeak then bumps will just make them pop in for 20 seconds then leave again (as I did), not actually increasing the activity.

    A good start for motivating others to hang out in the TS would simply be to have active people. I've been in and out a few times and I've never had a conversation with anyone at all; everyone is simply idling/afk or has the TS muted and is tabbed out browsing the internet or something.
