Not sure how to feel about this.

 

Well yeah, pretty ridiculous numbers, albeit not surprising considering the success of his business. The amount of computers, both in business and residential use, that use Windows and Microsoft Office is staggering.

Definitely one of the beneficiaries of a capitalist society.

regardless, it's still a lot of money. thankfully he puts a lot of it towards humanitarian goals and isn't buying a whole bunch of guns or something

 

That's what happens when you change the world. A lot of people let their dreams die because of what other people think of them. Then it's the crazy people that actually think they can change the world.... and do it. That's when the money roles in. However Steve Jobs was the real genius behind it all. Gates took what Steve dis and ran with it. Haha sorry if this is a bit off topic.

 

Gates is a great guy. Like super said, we're lucky that he's as generous as he is.

Agreed, but technically he stole the idea. Not sure if you've heard of that, but microsoft wasn't Bill Gates's idea.

 

Think about it. $23,000 / 60 = $383 per second. If he drops a $100 bill on the ground, it literally isn't worth his time to pick it up.

Assuming he pitches 2/3 (6 innings) of a 3 hour game (90 minutes of which the Dbacks will be pitching), he plays for 1 hour every game.
