Is this the richest player in RS history?

It can be assumed he doesn't trade them often if he's sitting on hundreds of them.
If he's not trading them they already have 0 influence on the phat market, and there's no way it'll have an influence if he should quit.

The only way the phat market will be able to tell is if he sells them all

 

This was back when it was about 1:5 so it was 400b but he got cleaned like 3 days after showing it to the public

 

Him and his cousin hoarded Holiday items back in the day, his cousin quit in 04 and gave all his items to him (Moltrinex). He said he didn't have much interested in the game when RS went into RS2 but he came back later on in RS3. Which obviously all his hoarded items have now turned him into the trillionaire he is now. Without a doubt, he has the most wealth accumulated at one time on the game. Even the richest of gamblers/stakers/lurers/merchants never held more than a few hundred bil at a time.

Also, Partyhats have been going up a lot in value recently, without a substantial drop in the price of gold, so his partyhat "investment" actually went up by tens of thousands of dollars within a relatively short period of time...

I don't really buy that for a minute. If people really believe this "oh well they watch his account!" bull shit, take a look at the number of gold sellers that make bank through RS daily, do you really actually believe Jagex gives any serious attention to it unless someone's blatantly stupid enough to buy/sell to/from the Chinese.

There's no way he hasn't RWT'd lol all the "and he was hacked here" and "he was hacked there" bull shit on that Wiki should be replaced with "he sold a couple dozen bil. here and there to pay for his college."

Regardless though, that's a stupid amount of wealth and you'd think it'd get ridiculously boring to play the game at that point.

Moltrinex is legit in the fact he had that much wealth at one point. He was open about it for a while and then he was hacked.

Nowadays he doesn't have quite as much but he's still richer than almost everyone else in the game. >.<

 

Yeah... won't be seeing much of him for a while lol. Thought it was a joke when I first read it... later went to his facebook and actually made those statements, dates add up and everything.

This was all over the University at Buffalo Yik Yak, I attended UB obviously during this time. My permanent residency is near Saratoga, and I was also selected for jury duty during the time of his arrest but luckily I was able to opt out being a student, who would eventually attend law school. I lived in Amherst so a hop, skip, and a jump away from the event. Then obviously being in jurisdiction of 'Toga. If only I could say what I'd do to this guy...
