    Barclays Premier League 2015/16 Discussion

    Hello there,

I am from England and I love to watch football, not soccer, football. I go most weekends to watch the football and as I see the Sports, Health & Fitness section is highly dominate by NFL, NBA etc. I thought I should start a discussion regarding the BPL.

Today (29/11/2015) is the day after Jamie Vardy because the first player to score in eleven consecutive games to beat Ruud Van Nistelrooy's record of ten consecutive games. Personally I believe that Leicesters next run of games against the likes of Chelsea (although off form), Liverpool and Manchester City will decide if Leicester has what it takes to continue defending their place at the top of the table or if they will be like West Bromich Albion of a few years ago who started dominantly and ended up dropping off at the end of the season when they faced much more difficult runs of games.

I understand that we are approaching a busy schedule in the league but as it is currently so open for Manchester City and Arsenal, the two favourites as it stands, do you believe that Manchester City, Leicester, Tottenham and Liverpool pose a likely threat?

Very, very surprised with how leicester is doing, never imagined they would be in the top 4. I'm a Liverpool supporter and damn, Klopp is doing a great job IMO, especially with that hugeee 4-0 win against manchester city. Hopefully they can bounce back throughout the season and make it to the top 4.

    Meanwhile chelsea...

It is as close at the top as it is at the bottom, if Arsenal win tomorrow they will be second, if they win by 5, which is highly unlikely, will go top and be on the same points (29) as Manchester City and Leicester. On the other hand today with the 2-0 win over Stoke, Sunderland are no longer in the bottom three and their rivals Newcastle are down to nineteenth!

yeah, i watched the vardy goal this afternoon from a train, truly awesome streak and hopefully many more come his way. i really like the way leicester play; when they're confident, they're actually pretty impressive

but alas, i am a chelsea fan and have been for years. this is not a fun season. will see how things go tomorrow morning away at spurs :/

The main reason I smile with glee when I see Chelsea in the league table is Mourinho, the man can't provide longevity of success at a club, as an Arsenal fan I will take the stick that Wenger won no trophies from 2004/05 - 2013/14, but look how he stayed within the top four with the teams he had I know not a lot of people rate Wenger anymore but I think behind Sir Alex Ferguson he is the best manager English football has seen, I am open to defend this as well.

City with another loss and poor defensive performance. Stoke should have made it 3-0

Leicester on the warpath - up 2-0 with two weird goals from Mahrez. Could easily have been four in 25 minutes with a little luck for Vardy.

I saw it man, De Gea had absolutely no chance. Chelsea and Manchester United in a week, gratz to them.

Who do you support? In the PL I go for Liverpool, officially the most inconsistent team of the season.

    Bump.

Anyone else finding this years season to be wildly erratic? A team can win 4-0 against the team coming second one day and then lose to a mid-table team the next. It's crazy.

    I'm gonna suppose you're a Chelsea fan?

I'd laugh, but I feel that bad for you ;). I mean, I support Liverpool though, so we're not doing too much better.
