    They may be true if you want to get down to how the ear perceives sound, and how we are able to understand it. BUT that was not the question, he wanted to tune the instruments and i provided how a real musician would do so and he stated they do have the skill for this method thus the problem is solved.

    the answer is fact. if they have knowledge of the chromatic scale they'd know how to find middle C. Middle C can also be easy to find if you know how many keys are on the piano.

    The gaps/ratios between notes can be established from the construction of many instruments however you still need a known note to begin from.

    Man I've been doing it wrong the whole time! "Just guess" is the answer to everything. Like how do we cure cancer? "idk, just guess".

    This is pure projection. These questions have nothing to do with me lol. In fact on the other side of them I might well get them wrong.

    Simple fact is you don't have a solution to the problem that is better than "just guess" and it annoys you. Makes you feel like all your experience and claimed worth aren't worth so very much after all. I don't know you and even if I did I wouldn't really care lol. Don't play the game if it hurts your ego. It's a a few make-you-think thought exercises, not an e-penis measuring competition.

Now if you want to say it's sally sue with ZERO Musical experience and want to derive the method of how to find middle C. Then well that would be different. I'm simply using your own realms knowledge to solve the problem. Which means i don't have to supply the facts on my end as they already have that information.
