Any watches enthusiasts?

Hey guys, i'm wondering if there is any "watch" enthusiast around because i'm shopping currently to find myself a new watch and can't seem to find what i want at a reasonable price.

so basically I'm looking for a classy watch with a minimalist design like these ones:





But all i've been able to find were pretty expensive (like 160-200$ USD)

Would be awesome if some of you guys could suggest some models that have similar design for < 100$ USD if possible!

 

I enthuse about watches, my favorite budget brand is called Citizen, and their eco drives work great for me. They're sleek minimalist design, but they do use cheap metals for their bands. That's the only downside is the band quality.

And the only issue I have is the fading black finish on the wristband, and the calendar has shitty mechanics, it doesn't compensate for 30/31 days in a month, so every other month it's off unless you adjust.

But it looks sexy from afar, very slim design and sleek face.

Unfortunately, I can't afford a few of my favorite designs yet, but if I had the cash, I'd go witch Chanel's J12 Black, or The Calatrava by Patek Philippe

 

I wouldn't be able to call myself an enthusiast just because I don't have the money. However, if I did have the money, I certainly would be. There's no doubt. Regardless, I adore skeleton watches and seeing their inner mechanisms. I got a cheapo $20-30 watch of that sort, but it's not worth mentioning lol

 

check out bering and skagen. i have a bering that's great and a skagen that's pretty nifty as well. really good everyday watches imo

there are some rado watches that are also pretty minimalistic if you can spend 10x that ^ but i'm guessing they're out of the picture for many folks (myself included!)

neat, you do you. just get the small size. oversized watches are goofy

 

My daily rotation mostly consists of these. None of them are overly expensive but I like 'em.

 

is the band on that casio stretchy jg? if so, i know someone who also really likes the same model

 

Na mine doesn't have any stretch to it but there are a few casio models that are all quite similar AFAIK, he probably has a variant of mine

 

damn, my father wears those casio :O ... are you my father Jack?

 

Last I checked I don't think so man. He clearly has impeccable taste in frugal fashion however.
