This shouldn't be that difficult, I'll give it a show.

To start with we have pure ethanol: C2H6O

In order to make this in to 2L we need to add some classic H2O

C2H6O + H2O

By using Grant's Law of Conservation of Food as clearly stated in book 7, we can determine that ethanol has 3 letters and water has 2, as a result, we have a 3:2 molar mass ratio. However this is where many people go wrong, they typically forget to add the molar mass with the overall molarity of the ethanol solution. Which is ~46g.

So in 2L, we get a 3:2 ratio, with an added amount of 46g.

So we actually end up with 92g OVER 2L, in order to actually amount to 2L in the end.

So it becomes 40% of 2L + 46g of H2O PLUS 60% of 2L + 46g of ethanol.


That was a pain, but not incredibly difficult, got any more?
