Skype hacked

Skype hacked today, not sure where to post this but if a mod can help me move it that would be great thanks.

There is not much staff can do about a Skype hacking. You won't be held accountable for any scams that occur from a hacked Skype unless there is a PM verification sent from your account. Advertise this in your signature and contact Skype to get the account closed. Create a new Skype and ensure that it isn't publicly displayed and only provide it to potential traders.

 

Something similar happened to my old skype, turns out it was just suspended. Anyways, go through all of your posts where you mention your skype and edit it out (Specifically where you created threads and the original post has your skype). Establish a new skype and add as many people that you had on your old skype as possible. Send them PM verification so that they know it is indeed you.

Be sure you also run a thorough virus scan on your computer, to make sure your computer is not infected.
