Who are the most trusted people to ever be caught scamming red handed? A semi-related question, who scammed for the most money ever in the history of Sythe?

What exactly did he do? I was MIA during his "event".

To keep it short, he was scammed 100M by someone on the site, this someone was DDOS'd for 4B and gave Wolf 100m, this someone paid him back his 100m after. So he was banned for accepting black-hat money.

 

Aw. If it came from the guy who scammed him, that's kinda shitty.

How did Coinking manage to do this? Was it like over a period of time from a lot of people or he got one guy for $10k?

You heard wrong . Was over the course of a few days and a fake hacking and multiple charge backs. Several were 2k+++ scams though for BTC.

When CK committed his scam I seem to remember some oldfags saying it wasn't even the biggest scam in Sythe history. However it's certainly the biggest scam since I've been around.

He certainly wasn't the most "trusted" by any means, many SF'ers (myself included) called that kid scamming months in advance.. He simply "bought" trust by having some start up capitol and making some big trades.. He was actually banking pretty well being legit honestly. He will be back, if he isn't already.

The staff members who scammed and former staff who scammed are more suited to this particular thread. Pen (former admin?) scamming was a big deal around when I first joined, there has been several others.. Certainly people trusted these pillars of the community more than some arrogant foreign fuck with poor engrish (CK).

 

I remember when Pen scammed the blue phat, it came out of no where - he's definitely one of the most trusted scams I've seen

It didnt come out of nowhere, he was recently deranked. Pen and finn were rumored to have given special treatment for sexual favors on tiny chat. When pen was de ranked he quickly scammed a blue phat and several bil from another user.

Lucster- was a well known account seller who recovered all the accounts he sold. Several accounts with unknown amounts of gp.

Plznate scammed around 4100.00 but repaid almost a year later.

Punkerpunk13 or w/e his name was recovered a account with 13b+ i believe.

There are more just cant remember off the top of my head.

 

I mean I guess I have to throw king neuro into the ring.

I haven't been around that long to know if he truly had the biggest scamquit, but if it's not the biggest it's in the top 5 for sure.

Also, I know on powerbot someone hacked Arcus and faked a ~$10k scam (the hacker "scammed" himself and had Arcus refund). So not sure if you can count that as a scamquit, but it's a big scam.

 

I heard recently in the spam forum someone stole a partyhat set back in like '07 or something, when they were worth bank.

 

Coinking probably has the largest in confirmed scams but Lucster was banned for scamming several thousand dollars in a single trade and after his banned several people claimed he recovered accounts he sold them. He sold hundreds of accounts while on sythe and if he recovered all of them (which he very well might have) that would be an enormous scam
