paypal charge back illegal?

I'm looking to sell a little gold and my account on playerauctions, I'm worried about being scammed there because I got scammed once on that website already, if I get paypal charged back is there any method of getting it back or if needed escalating it to a court case... I'm not sure because I know that trading runescape accounts and gold is illegal to runescape rules as it is

 

You won't get paypal charged back after a payment is disbursed from them to you. That is part of their "service" they offer, to hedge chargebacks for you.

 

Once you've received your payment directly from PA it will not get charged back.

 

Just trade through very trusted websites and you'll be fine. Examples:

www.boglagold.com
www.divicasales.com

etc. High trust, lots of vouches, and well known.

 

To answer your second question..

I don't think any paypal chargebacks have ever led to a federal investigation and a court hearing. Paypal has bigger things to worry about than some kid charging back $300 & having to pay for the lawyers etc.

I heard if you take any PayPal case worth less than $10k to court PayPal just pay you out because its not worth the hassle to them

 

Don't trade with users unless they have many previous paypal vouches and a verified paypal.

 

Or people with a bunch of fake vouches?

So if you charge back and says you're going to sue them, you'll automatically get the win?

For any amount? Even as little as less than $200?

 

I don't think that'd hold up to court though as Paypal's stance on virtual goods is pretty clear and since you have no real way to "prove" you delivered the virtual goods, not much you can do about it

 

How did Playerauctions do that? The user won't be able to chargeback once PA has paid you..

 

Anyone should try to get into court there are alot kids chargebacking i got my paypal limited because that like 4times.

 

PlayerAuctions pays you the money while they take the risk of getting chargeback themselves. This is part of the service they provide and is also why they set their fees so high.

There is a way on PayPal that you NEVER have to deal with chargebacks - I should not be the only one that knows about it... Its so simple.
Paypal gets fucked for the transaction while you have your money safe.
