Do you prefer to cheat or play normally?

i prefer to play normal and see if i have any skill in the game. cheating gets boring unless for profit

 

it depends. on rs ill bot all day, but my main account i like to play legit. im not a hater either way tho

 

Games like Runescape, such that require the same repetitive actions; cheat. But on games I thoroughly enjoy, I'd play normally - especially those which are competitive.

 

I enjoy playing the game, unless it's a long winded approach like RuneScape, Runescape wise, I'd rather cheat stats wise then play/boss/gather items legitimately.

 

Depends. It sucks when I cheat and then get bored because there's nothing left to do

I don't tend to cheat often in games no. Especially on the PC considering most multiplayer games using have some sort of anti-cheat detection and will result in a ban, and I hate wasting money. I did however used to bot in Runescape back in 2005'ish.

 

I cheat in games like GTA and stuff, but before that I usually complete the game.

Definitely playing legitimate is my route of gaming.

 

It really depends on the game - I usually do NOT cheat on MMOs.

On probably 80 - 90% of single player games; skyrim, fallout, GTA, etc etc I use cheats. Not because the games are too hard, but I prefer the story... The story is ALWAYS what gets me into the game, and I just can't enjoy sitting behind something in a gun fight for 10 minutes to find out what actually happens next when I can trigger invincibility and just go out and kill everything quickly and get on with the story.

However, if I enjoy the game-play, after completing the story of a game, I often go back and beat it again without cheats.

 

Depends on the circumstances. Cheating skill/experience won't do me any good for my future in the game (pking, bossing) but cheating time (like skilling, buying GP)? I'm all for it.

 

I think every game has to be played legit, it will take the fun out of the game if you cheat, in my opinion.

 

Play Normal until you get stuck and can't find anything on the internet and you basically give up to the point you want to smash your game. Then cheat!

 

Generally I only "cheat" on games where it doesn't matter. I use quotes around that word because I use it generally on things like GTA IV multiplayer where the only thing "cheats" do is make the game more fun. I don't cheat to make games easier because i'm a man.

Pretty much down for cheats on most games. But not cheats that make you unbeatable like invincibility type cheats. I like cheats for stuff like more ammo, maybe body armour (007 night fire<3), sometimes better gear, and level teleport(in dark alliance 1-2 there was an insane amount of lvls and as a kid I just never saw myself getting through 112 dungeons without level hopping for better gear and stuff).

But games like skyrim, I'm playing to level and quest so I don't see why to cheat. I got to lvl 34 on skyrim on my own and then found some cheat with a book that I basically was lvl 80 something I think with a quickness. I played like that for maybe 20 minutes and thought it was stupid cause now I'm just a beast doing lvl 30 quests and wreaking havoc with no repercussions. So I for the most part play RPGs for real.

Online games and multiplayer games however I'm %100 all about cheating. Whatever gets me better then the next guy the fastest is what I'm doing. I play runescape to PK, stake, play barbarian assault and occasionally quest or do slayer. So if that's what I like doing I don't want to have to grind to get cash and skills up. I can chop willows while I sleep it's time to have fun when I'm logged in.

The one adverse affect I've from the above is that I've lost my sense of value for the game. 7 years ago if I lost 5m staking life was over and there was no hope for the future. But now, I will get cleaned for 150m+ and be slightly bummed for a few min. Because I know that next weeks paycheck I can just buy another 20m and try again for cash. So I have no sense of self control with my money, spend recklessly, and lose motivation. I do miss when I chopped willows for gainz but now that I know I can just bot, I'll train for 20 min and then ask myself wtf I'm doing wasting time on a botable skill.

Sorry for going on and on about something that was supposed to be a short reply, but I took a shit ton of something similar to adderall and I'm on that level where I could have easily gone on for hours. But I'll spare you all of that because that would just be inconsiderate. ^.^

 

I love just putting in effort and becoming good at the game. Many games like cs:go and mw2/3 you can become so skillful at that people simply call you a hacker. That's the best feeling ever.

I'd hack on stupid games that don't affect other people in any way, but when it comes to anything competitive, I like to simply out-skill people.

 

Sometimes when I play a Single-Player game that I don't have a lot of time for (Age of Empires being one example) I'll cheat a little to get a head start and speed the game up. Anything multiplayer I steer clear of it.
