Decided to stop playing

Well my first impressions were great, I loved the way the community was back up on it's feet. Reminded me of the good times in the past.

However, after reaching 60 attack, 60 defence, 70 ranged, I've decided to stop. As I don't want to attack anyone, nor go find people who're skulled. I just think I enjoyed training whilst being under risk and fell pretty deep into the hype of it all. It's now time to stop and get back to business as usual.

Anyone else in a similar situation?

Hopefully it keeps it's edge and carries on being popular.

 

I literally played for an hour and stopped, got so bored.
I don't see the point in wasting time playing a game that is on a course to fail, eventually people will be bored of loosing items and stats and just quit.

However I did also enjoy it on release for a half hour, was exciting.

 

I feel like within a few months, the game will lose hope.

 

It is nice to see the community get a nice bolt of life, I was watching b0aty's deadman livestream and he completely shattered his records with 15k+ viewers.

But as others have stated I think the game mode will fizzle out pretty soon, especially with all the higher lvls that will make it hard for new players to join in.

 

I feel the same way, I don't think the game mode will last a long time.

 

I played for 3 days and died 4 times. I logged off after pking 150k and just quit. Haven't logged back in. I guess I just got bored of it since I've already made an ironman, pure, and main. Got old questing and training everything again.

 

Sometimes we realize we're too old for the game, and decide to quit. The sooner you realize this and get back to prioritizing whats worth prioritizing, the better.

 

Yeah.. Gettin' old sucks man.

 

i think after there are many maxed accounts and mains people will quit

 

Never liked it to begin with.

 

Exactly how I feel about RuneScape in general. I started playing in 2003 and have played for a long time now, but it's not the same as how I felt when I was 8. Everything always changes when you get older, money becomes a bigger problem, and I think we're still in love with the game, but have a more passion making money from it, rather than just playing it.

 

I like it, but to be honest...jagex is spreading the player base way way too thin across 4 game modes

 

Being able to lose your stats is what I think will lead to the game dying. Not a fan of that at all.

 

Haven't played it because of school but quite frankly I think I've outgrown Runescape all together.

 

Haven't we all mate. It's not the same as it was when we were younger. The passion and the love for it's still there, but the time and energy isn't.

 

I earned 250k dmm by thieving in 2 days then swapped it for 10m osrs

I quit it now just wanted to check out how the game worked
