Money making strategy on Deadman

With the release of Deadman I decided to start playing it, mainly for the money making part, not that interested in killing people.

I haven't played runescape in a while and am not really that familiar with moneymaking and such.

What I am doing right now; woodcutting in lumbridge.

I started with a bronze hatchet to level 15, switched to oaks and at 30 to willows.
Using a steel hatchet.

Currently sitting on level 51, steel hatchet, have around 200 ~ willow logs banked which I'm planning on selling for a rune hatchet once I gathered enough.

Once I hit 60, I was planning to go cut some yews in Rimmington and sell the profit there, but since I am level 3 I would probably just die and lose all my yews even if I bank them (I don't think you can deposit stacked items to the blue wizard?)

However, I am not really sure if that is a good way of making a decent cashpile nor the safest.

That's why I'm turning to you guys, the sythe users that know everything about the money making scene.

What should I do, what's my best option?

Iv been mostly wc / fletching for cash. Selling yew longbows for 620 + ea. The best money is in runecrafting tho. The safest is most likely thieving. Either way i would definitely grind out 40 + hp and always bring lobs wherever your not guarded. Chopping yews in lumbridge seams to be the safest place but even there i almost died to a lv 64 mage w/ snares and sara strike. Every 100k+ i swap because it is just to easy to lose bank

 

Where do you get your bow strings?

 

You can't deposit a stack of items in that deposit box. Only 10 of them would go in.

Just thieve for a few days then go merch. That is probably the best way to make money safely. Get like 50 HP and 50 DEF or something to prevent randoms killing merchants at Varrock. Wield a bow with no arrows so you don't accidentally attack anyone.

 

What would you suggest doing for thieving? Starting level 1.

 

Spawn in Ardougne off tutorial island. Thieve men in the bar 1-5, cake stalls 5-20, silk stalls 20-50, guards 50-60, knights 60-80, paladins 80-99. If you're planning on doing it for a long time(90+) get Ardougne Cloak 2 for the 10% success bonus boost. If not you can get a few 100k in a couple of days playing semi-casually. The only bad part is that your hand will be rekt.

 

Hmm.. Seems like some people just suicide for me, lost 1k willows I made few hours woodcutting :l Just got 1 shot by someone as I'm level 3.

Anything I can do in lumbridge? Have got 62 wc now with barely no combat or items.

 

There's a few yew logs in lumbridge, but I would recommend getting your combat up and getting 60+ hp so people wont attack you most of the time.

 

I wouldn't recommend staying level 3. Anything below 50 gets PKed and even suicided on a lot at this point in the game.
