Who/what introduced you to RuneScape?

Just curious in how you guys found out about RS.

Me personally, my cousin played it when I was like 9 and I used to watch him, then when I was like 11, I was bored and decided to start playing.


Never really try-harded, but the blackmarket side always interested me.

 

I pretty much started the same, when I was about 9 or 10 I saw my uncle playing and thought it looked awesome, so I created an account and that's when all of my troubles started.

 

I was in grade 2 and my reading-budding who was in grade 5 showed me.

 

My brother showed me it back in 2008.

OT: When I was in 2nd grade, so like 11 years ago, my brother showed me this game, as he just found out about it. I quit in 3rd grade. Turn to 6th grade, my friend showed me it because he was starting to get into it. I never really stopped after that. Had it not been for my friend in 6th grade, I would have not been here today likely.

 

Friend of mine introduced it to me in 5th grade.

My irl friend introduced me to it back when we were in elementary school. Been one of my favorite games ever since

 

My brother was playing it, he quit years ago, but I never stopped playing...

 

oversaw someone playing it in the local library and i thought id try it out myself...and here i am now

 

2004 my little brother and his friends started playing it. I watched them one day and started playing myself. I pretended to be sick so i could have the whole day catching up to them. I still remember my first time going to hill giants and thinking i was making bank. The good old days

 

I started in 2005 with my school friends. I remember them lending me a black long sword and saying they'd kill me if I didn't give it back haha! Some guy gave me 2k and I was fucking ecstatic.

 

I first played Runescape in 2003, found it out by a friend of mine who had been playing since DeviousMud. I asked him what MMO's he plays and he mentioned both Ultima Online, and RuneScape, since then I jumped on RuneScape and never looked back since.

 

Friends on school honnestly, I sneaked up to my dads computer and played, was stuck on tutorial island though x:

 

I feel you, when I first jumped onto Runescape and logged in, tutorial island took me 2.5 hours to complete before I even reached Lumbridge, not to mention how long it took me to reach my first skill to level 5.

 

I think I found Runescape through miniclip... the only games I had played before were heli attack 3 and that helicopter one so I ended up being instantly hooked on RS lol

 

My friend showed me it when I was around 7, but I quit playing right after. About a year later, I started playing again after seeing it on Minigame.

My bestfriend used to play it when I'd go over there. Funny thing is... I hated it, I hated watching him playing it, seemed like such a stupid game.

Now, I've been playing RuneScape for over 9 years.
