Could I get a lift on my SRB please?

So about 2 or 3 days ago I notice I got an email that states "you're sythe account has been locked for 15 minutes because somebody has tried to get into your account 5 times and failed". So I log in later and see a gold buying thread has been made by somebody other than myself. I quickly request an SRB and get banned. I ran two virus scans yesterday on Hitman Pro and Avast and both came out negative for any malware or viruses. I'm confused how I got hacked. Anyways, I was wondering if my hacker might still be logged into the account by never logging out? Is that possible? Thanks.
