What is a nice present for my boyfriend?

I was wondering what would be a good gift for my boyfriend, I want this to be random, I have a budget of $200, until i get my debit card back,
Anyway I was thinking clothes as a staple but besides that I want to get him something unique that symbolizes our love, like a necklace. But then again im not good at this,

Then next week I want to give him a $500 gift. He usually don't accept money from me but i really, really want him to have it, he deserves it.

 

What does he like? Typically if me and my girlfriend are going to do a cute gift it'd be like a science related piece of jewellery since were both in the sciences in university and as future careers.

 

He's into dead body's. He's a pathologist and he works on bodies all day. He's been into it his whole life. So maybe a heart/bone ring?

I know what would really make him happy but I want it to be a Christmas present.

I remember since we been together I always been a little over the top though he never wanted anything material but that's the person I am. if you can't get him anything that's meaningful, i suggest not getting anything at all. poorly-thought-out gifts almost never go well

Anish, expensive gifts aren't always the best way to surprise your significant other. Why not explore the thought of baking a cake or muffins in your boyfriend's favourite flavours? Gifts from the heart are always appreciated and the most heartwarming.

Anyway, if it's his birthday you could make a "(his age here) why i love you) poster, i like the heart-ring/necklace idea, maybe you could engrave a note or something sweet on the back.

if you wanna spend a lot of money, the present shouldn't be a single thing or multiple random gifts, take him out for the day and spend the money doing anything he wants, if he doesnt know what he wants plan something you think he'd like. hope it works out well

 

Does he ever wear watches? You can get a nice watch for $150 for him.

You said he doesn't like material things. Instead of a movie and flowers or something have you thought about getting away for a weekend with a accommodation as the gift? The way I'd do that is giving him an envelope containing some pamphlets or something just so he gets the idea of accommodation but that you should decide together where & when.

 

I agree with Jack. A romantic getaway would be really nice. I don't think it's within your budget but if you would like to wait a little bit and save some money that would be better imo. Just recently booked a 4 night stay in Iceland for my girlfriend at a spa hotel with the geothermal spa + Northern lights tours prepared. Hope she likes it!
