Need some advice

I have recently sold the user 'Clock' (who is now banned for multiple scamming) 500m 07 for UKBT. He has admitted on this post:

that he has been on a Romanian IP for the past month selling/buying 07 gp via UKBT. Is it possible that I will suffer a chargeback? What are the chances? What should I do? Do I call my bank before he tries anything?

I'm no expert, but i'm sure if you show evidence and physically go in to your bank or call them if anything is charged back, you'll be fine. Don't email them or anything, make sure you go in.

Not sure if anything can be done to charge back though. I could be wrong.

Just be prepared with all the evidence and link his banned account here on the dispute.

 

Only call your bank if he actually goes through with a chargeback, people like him are pathetic, hope everything works out well for you.

 

I wouldn't worry TOO much. A lot of banks block CyberGhost (especially Romanian) IPs from bank transfers. Lots of anti-fraud software in e-commerce and banking blocks Romanian sales too. If it does become an issue, then go there or call for sure.

 

Some level of concern in this situation is rational.

But I wouldn't be worrying 'that' much. I MM'd like 2b 07 for clock, he always paid/received bitcoin and there wasn't any issues at all. So I'm not sure what happened with him, but bank transfers are slightly difficult to reverse and I wouldn't expect him to. You probably can get his real name at this point too so it wouldn't be a good idea for him.

If it does happen just deal with it then.

 

Thank you for all your advice! I will take into consideration what you guys have said and will wait until something happens before I take any action. However, I have taken down relevant proof concerning the situation. I hope it doesn't have to come to this.

 

I think he actually lives in UK and was hiding under the romanian IP. Not actually lives in romania

 

It's strange because he's done a decent amount of trading and has a decent post count. Wonder what happened to him? Tough times lol.

 

I realize. The Romanian IP address should nullify the online banking request. It should hopefully be blocked because CyberGhost uses Voxility for a datacenter in Romania, Voxility is a cesspool of blackhat lol.

If you have malwarebytes you can't connect to voxility.com for example

 

Ouch, hopefully he doesn't charge back. In the future, don't accept reversible methods of payment. BTC is the way to go
