Quote Notifications

I can't tell you how many times it's been suggested, it's pretty ridiculous. It's also a testament to how wanted it is, and that it should be top priority.

 

I've brought it up again. Hopefully it gets things going.

I'm pretty sure Matthew, or Sythe, or someone on the Admin team posted it was being worked on a while ago on another notification suggestion thread.

This would make things incredibly easy to manage, however I'm a little curious on what will happen if you're being quoted a lot, would that not result in a lot of notifications (spam notifications) especially in such a large forum..

I was thinking maybe if the quote system of notifications was linked/related to only thread's you subscribe to. Therefore you'd only expect notifications for specific threads you wish to receive notifications for.

I'm not sure, just something that popped to my mind.

 

This would be an awesome feature, I greatly support the addition of the above.
