    Noob question about BTC payments

SO before I ask I would just like to apologize for the noob question, just recently returned to rs after about 2 years. I have googled this question some but still not too sure, basically what is Bitcoin, what site do I use for it, Can I pay through paypal for it, and why do people prefer this payment these days? Basically any and all info about Bitcoin would be useful for me, thank you all!

    Noob question about BTC payments

    Use blockchain.info

I'm not sure if they accept paypal for it, you'd have to check. People accept btc primarily because once you send it, you cannot charge it back. They just wait for 1 or 2 confirmations and then pay you whatever it is you purchased. Only problem is it fluxuates in price a lot. See a recent graph, but in the last month it went fro 230$->270$, so.

Not many people will sell you btc for pp

If you want to buy some easiest way would probably be to buy rsgp from one seller and sell it back to someone for btc

People use it because unlike pp , when it is sent and has 1-2 confirmations there is 0 way to chargeback the payment

    Noob question about BTC payments

There's a huge loss on this though due to the margins going through 2 different people.

Some will sell you btc on sites like localbitcoin with other safe payment methods, I'd recommend that because it's only 1 person you're going through so your losses will be cut.

Yeah they mostly deal in cash. And they take a fair % as well

I was talking if you only had pp and wanted a quick transaction
