Is there anything stopping us from?..

Has anyone ever attempted / been successful in killing Swappers, Gold buyers / Sellers? I mean it must be possible... Is it becoming a problem for them?

 

They just take all precautions they can, sure it's possible just unlikely

 

It's certainly possible, but kind of a cheap move to do so. The more you target them, the less active they'll be buying and selling = the harder it'll be for you to sell your gp for a decent rate.

 

You could probably pull it off every once in a while, but it would be a scum bag thing to do.

Most people trade on level 3s at Lumbridge, where there are many guards. With a couple fish you can survive any attacker, unless you get DDOSed or something like that.

I guess it would be a problem for gold sellers if players set up an order just to kill them.

 

I'm not sure how you would. I imagine they would be on a lvl 3 at a bank. So your character would have to be lvl 7 at most. I don't know of any weapons a lvl 7 could use to burst a lvl 3 before the guards get them.
And then if you did find a combination, the gold trader would probably be trading in increments anyway
