Such thing as tilt?

Returned to league after a few months off, was based at plat 4/5 elo, however i am now in gold 2. I understand im rusty but i mean come on.

 

Yeah there is, all I do is /mute all at the start of a game, it honnestly helps.

 

that's what you can do but sometimes it's fun to watch them get mad

 

Tilt is very real, if you start losing alot its better to not play for a little bit.

 

Few months actually might be enough to lost a lot of ability. Especially if you're not on the pc or watching professional LoL.

 

Yeah i thought the same, but i guess il have to get back into the swings of things.

 

A few months is a lot of time to lose skill. What I thought "tilt" means is playing and losing a few games in a row, then to the point where you get angry at little mistakes (yours or teammates), make even more mistakes, and start to become a negative influence on your team.

In any case the best response is to just play a few normal games, or better yet take some time off League to cool down.

Yeah, it exists. I remember getting stuck around S2-S3. I kept winning 3 and then losing 5 in a row, it was ridiculous. Wasted so much time trying to climb and most of the time, I was on tilt, being angry. Maybe that's why I kept losing.
