Ban Rate of Selling Runescape Gold?

Trying to gather information regarding ban rate of RWT, specifically Runesacape Gold:

- Have you ever banned from real world trading?
- How old was your account and how often and big are your transactions?
- How long did it take for your account to be banned?
- Did you do try to do non RWT activity in your account? (e.g. skill)

Bit of advice:

If you have a large sum of gold, don't sell it all at once or all right away. Try to sell only a few hundred mill 07 or like 1b rs3 every couple days. Try to play on the account and get a level or two every once and awhile.

Yeah

My account was fairly new. The older your account the better, usually.

- How long did it take for your account to be banned?

Around a week or so ~

Not really. Coupled with it being new made it obvious haha

 

don't keep/sell large sums of money at once on one account. spread out the gold and when selling to customers switch up which accounts your trading off of. if your the buyer it's rarely a ban, but they do watch for big time sellers. if you are careful and smart, you should be fine. you should expect to take a loss at some point if you are trying to get into big gold selling

 

Don't sell to the chinese.

Understand there is a risk but it is pretty low

 

Was banned once, thats cause I sold 60M straight to a big chinese gold seller/buyer in one trade back in 2014.

Try use what dunworry said. Use accounts that are quested and have membership. Use methods like the duel arena and put up items when buying gold (junk items).

 

Make a new account, play legitly for a few hours as in quest and skill and then rwt. Don't start RWTing straight off the bat. That will raise up a few flags.

 

I had someone today who wanted screenshot of my skype and my client before I sell him gold, sound fishy considering he had level 3 account. I gave him screenshot of my client with him on there which wasn't enough so I didn't go through the trade.

But yeah do you guys think this is suspicious? Like people asking you for too much information before a trade? Feels like they want to ban you, is what I feel. Has this ever happened to you?

Was he going first or you were first? He might have just wanted reassurance that you had the gold before he paid you.

 

This is probably what happened. In any case, the ban rate of selling gold is very low, as long as you are smart with how you are selling it (e.g. junk, large volumes w/ multiple accounts, etc.)

 

Yeah I already showed him the gold. I gave him a screenshot of us trading (as request) then after he told me he needed a skype screenshot too.

 

Iv sold over 250b EOC in the past year, had 2 bans. Bans are extremely rare, i take literally no precaution at all.

yes and no, I've RWT'd a lot in the past, never gotten banned but when my account got hacked and around 7b was taken from it + rwt'd then I received a ban.
- How old was your account and how often and big are your transactions?
Around 9 years, I sold GP regularly, usually 1b+ (1-4b)
- How long did it take for your account to be banned?
Like I said never gotten banned when I sold gold myself.

Yeah, my account was close to max cape.

 

That's amazing. 9 years almost max cape and you've sold billions regularly. What a feat!

 

i have sold amounts ranging from 30m-700m rs3gp many times and never been banned

 

probably anything lower than 1b transaction is not gonna get you banned because i have done it for atleast 2 years selling 30-700m at a time per transaction so its all good
