So this could detect if someone else (a customer) bumped before the 8 hrs and the bot would then wait until another 8 hrs had passed to bump again?

No, you're correct in saying that. The 8hr bump rule resets if a customer posts.

 

You're like saying the opposite. Does it or does it not reset the 8hr timer?

 

A customer posting on your thread does not reset the 8 hour bump rule. You still have to wait the full 8 hours for your next bump.

 

Omg rofl, this got so confusing. What I was trying to say was, if someone posts on your thread, you can reply to them and the 8 hours will reset thereafter.

 

Just added functionality so that if you (the user you configure) post on the thread it will make sure your last post was > 8 hours ago.
