Laptop keeps disconnecting from wifi

Hey bros.. I just got this laptop not too long ago and its giving me problems. Ok.. So my wifi is fine. Im having no problems with connecting to it with other devices and it doesnt disconnect every 5 minutes or so unable to connect again. Is it a problem with the adapter? Im an idiot when it comes to electronics

 

Unfortunately for a solution your question is a little too vague, have you tried troubleshooting the issue?

 

I have actually seen this on a lot of newer model OS' of computers you get stock from the store. Usually seems to be something with the driver.

 

Yeah.. It said something about my adapter, then it works again a couple hours later after doing nothing.

I hope this isn't true.

 

The only thing I can suggest is updating the drivers of your network, if that fails then search around for any similar issues with your exact laptop to see if others have shared a similar experience / solution. If that fails, then I'd recommend taking it back to where you purchased it from and ask for a swap.

 

What laptop is it? There's just certain cheap laptop these days that are just wishy washy on connecting to wifi.
