Proof of GP

I've been seeing a lot of people selling gp, when in actuality they do not have it. Could we possibly make it a requirement to post pics of the gp you claim to be selling (like accounts)?

 

I don't think people will go first to someone with nil posts, joined this month and no vouches. So even if that may be, I'm certain anybody will ask for in-game proof of the GP or use a middleman. It's not a bad idea, but what about the large gold stores, they would have to continuously post new proof of their updated GP stock?

 

Way too easy to be faked imo and posting a fake picture of gold would probably fool a few people and more people end up getting scammed

-unlike accounts can easily be confirmed before the trade takes place without any loss to the seller
-Also people constantly shift around with how much stock they have ect.

 

No support for these reasons. It would be a pain to constantly change the picture of how much stock we have.

Nooooo.
This would mean you would have to constantly update stock pictures, show the exact amount of money and sometimes stock sells out in seconds.
Never going to happen, it's a free market and there's nothing hard or inconvenient about checking with a livechat before purchasing.

Useless Idea.
People can use cheat engine to make fake images!

 

It's not feasible to require it; but you can make it a personal requirement that the seller shows you the gold over screenshare etc before you purchase.
