Why do people scam?

If they were actually legit, they would make a lot more then scamming others. My question is why do they do it?

Those who scam lack the immaturity to see past the short term gain.

 

1. because you can get pardoned.
2. ability to claim being hacked (only pay off those who have proof)
3. ability to scam, ban evade, repeat.

I do not condone any of these methods and believe something needs to be done about this.
