When to tell her its not working out

I've been seeing this girl that lives on campus for the past 4-5 days or so. She's a freshman and I'm a junior but we're almost exactly a year apart in age. Every time she's come over it ends up sexual (quite literal "Netflix and Chill) but it seems like she wants more. She's always been the one to initiate hanging out / texting first / she just seems clingy. I know at this point I have no intention to date her, and I want to just break it off. How should I go about this? I feel like a dick for basically leading her on and don't know how she's gonna react.

 

Just tell her, honnestly. Tell her how you feel and say you don't think it would be fair to you if you had to keep making out with her when you don't want to. Do it face to face, don't do it over text.

That's the best you can do, tell her how you feel and that you're sorry but you don't think it will work out.

 

Just be blunt about it and tell her. You've only been seeing her for about a week.

 

As previously stated you should just be straight with her and tell her it's not working. Really though, there are plenty more ladies out there, and I didn't settle down until I had my degrees, and was already tenure at my career. Nothing wrong with flings, just gotta end them

 

Everyone is on point, you've been seeing her for days, so it's not like you're breaking hearts. You could just stop agreeing to go out with her a few days, then tell her it's not working out, or you want to focus more on your work. Just make a reason, it's been 5 days so it's not like it matters why.

 

I wouldn't call 4-5 days leading somebody on. Just let her know that you wanna chill it and that a relationship is not what you're looking for. Maybe she might settle for fuck buddies, if that's something you'd want. Don't lie and make excuses, tell her the straight truth.

 

If you're not actually dating this girl then there's no reason to even text back, give her one word answers. No one likes someone that comes on too strong, but if you don't want a relationship with this girl, no one's forcing you to.

 

As many of the others above have said, just tell her. Don't ignore her, don't play mind games, tell her how you honestly feel. Leave it at that, and it'll be done. There is no reason to be rude, or play games with her. Just say this isn't going to work, it hasn't been working, etc., and that it's time to move on.

 

Don't take this advice and just leave her hanging. You have to let her know how you feel, regardless of whether the encounter is real or not.

 

just tell her you don't want anything serious or aren't ready for any sort of commitment. you should ask her about her feelings and what she wants out of you two. you can't just assume that's what she wants, but you could easily be right. it is hard to do these things, but if you know you don't want her just spare her the pain.

 

Tell her straight up. If you think she wants something more from you, talk to her now before it's late. As stated above, 4-5 days isn't really a big deal.

 

Beating the horse now, But believe me, you have to tell her as soon as possible. its not worth dragging out at the current time.

There's only one thing I'd like to add to everyone's advice. She's going to be upset with your decision regardless, so it's better to have her less upset and tell her earlier than to wait a long time. It's definitely not going to be easy, but it's life and life's not fair.

(The way you word it will make it better. I'd say something along the lines of I do like you, but I think we're moving way too fast. I just need some time to figure myself out.) However you word it will be fine as long as it's how you feel.

 

Do whatever makes you happy. If you're not happy, think about #1. Don't be unhappy just to make someone else happy. She'll get over it.
