Jagex confirm that they flag IPs.

I recently bought a guide that explicitly said they do not flag IP's. Should I post somewhere about it? I don't think it's fair to sell misinformation and to be honest I'm not happy with my purchase.

Anyway, for those who were unsure, this is proof.

I highly recommend against using any service that in ANY WAY let's IPs be shared among users. If you're going to use a VPN, you should at the very least get a dedicate IP.

 

I'd contact the seller of the guide. Keep in mind people who write the guides are human, and therefore can be wrong sometimes. Though it's been known for quite awhile that IPs are flagged, so whoever wrote that guide needs to do a bit more research.

 

The person who sold you that guide was obviously misinformed, make sure to use proxies when botting for the best results.

 

I thought it was common knowledge that they do flag IP's. It would be stupid on their part not to.

 

The guide is sold on this website, author says "you're going to believe someone on a forum" lol.

 

I always thought it was best not to bot on proxies less suspicious o.o?
