I'd say make a NES laptop if you haven't made a portable before it's easier to make a NES one.

Have you got Benheck's book and are you a member of his forums?

I play Tekken 3 all the time on my PSP.. I find it way more convenient.. The only downside to playing on the PSP is that some games don't work, and multi disc games are a hassle. When you need to switch discs, you need to be able to save it right then so you can load the next disc with that save.

All I care is that all 3 Tekkens, Metal Gear Solid, Syphon Filter, and all 3 Crash Bandicoots run perfectly. ;) Plus Resident Evil, but I have heard that Resident Evil 2 crashes somewhere in the game. I believe Sony is still making firmware updates for compatibility.

lol if the laptop's specs are quite good just get a ps1 emulator, put the ps1 game disc into the drive then select it from the emulator and bang! you can play it. well thats the software way for people that dont want to really spend much money.

There's someone who did that with an XBox 360, looked kick ass. By the way, ps1 laptop already exists, in a way...The slim ps1s can hook up to an LCD screen, just on the back of the console. But, if your's actually looks like a laptop, that'd be cool.

Why dont u just use an emulator? U can make an xbox 360 like that. As long as the comp specs support it emulators work fine.

I've been playing PS1 (PSX) on my laptop since forever.

ePSXe Is the best client. You will need to download (Illegally) or extract your own bios (Legal+But you cant do) from your own Real ps1.
