Moneypak and Paypal Mycash

I used to think that these payment methods were non-refundable. Are they? I heard something about the need for a cash receipt for one of them? Could someone give me more information.

Also, what are the limits for redemption for either one?

I think moneypak changed in some countries.

W/ pp mycash you make sure they purchased the card w/ cash not a cc (check the reciept)

In order to cash in u need verified pp w/ a ssn

From what I've been told, paypal mycash is extremely tough to be removed once applied. However, if paypal finds that you're redeeming pp mycash for other people, you'll earn yourself a stern conversation with them. Just as hot said above, you'll want to require a receipt upon receiving one of these. If it's paid for by a credit card, the person who sent you this can just call their credit card company saying it was not them who purchased it. If they purchased it with cash, it's very tough for them to get it removed from your account once it's been applied.

 

Okay cool, so any word as to moneypak? Or should I just avoid it. It used to be like a pretty safe way to receive payments from what I heard

 

Moneypak was renamed as mycash, a ton of mycashes are also frauded and you can land in hot water redeeming them. Only redeem mycashes for people you can really trust. I had my paypal account permanently limited from redeeming mycashes for an extremely trusted user (not their fault, it happens) and with the 5% fee I was getting I can't say it was even worth it in the end

I was told Busta had some charge backed and lost thousands. I currently redeem Mycash cards and i will be asking for receipts from now on. Ive also raised my prices to 8-10%. People have complained but i dont give a fuck. If im risking my account i want to at least have a decent profit. I think redeemers should raise prices across the board to 10%

 

Any reason why the gold companies you redeem for couldn't just do it themselves?

 

I would assume the majority are Chinese and dont have access to Mycash. Id also assume other dealer's dont want to risk their paypal accounts. I have bumped my prices for such risk. Ive also started asking for receipts
