One of my mates lost around 3B 07 in the past day or so. So at least it's not too bad haha, but still sucks to lose any amount of money

Exactly. open a questing or skilling shop, you'll make that back pretty quick. Don't stake what you can't afford to lose

 

That's one of the reasons I started my ironman. When I had my 126 I would just PvM, get 50m in drops then go stake it. I would keep staking regardless whatever I made. I could be up 700m and would just keep going.

Maybe an ironman would be a good choice for you?
