Finally got rid of my previous beater to get this one.

 

Damn nice ! How much did you fork over to get that haha?

 

More than I originally anticipated. All said and done with upgraded tires, winter tires + wheels included and first 2 services free paid 28k Canadian.

My wallet still burns.

 

dont do the emission upgrade thing if they offer it, it'll murder your mileage + reliability. diesel emissions are the devil

 

Ouch >.< But hey, VW is usually a very solid manufacturer. You should be set for a good chunk of time

As long as that's a new one ofc, can't really be sure what others have done with the cars before it's sold to you

+ used car dealers can sometimes be sketchy af. But yeah looks nice

 

2015, unless it got thrashed by a previous owner it should be fine. And if you're spending 28K CAD, it is likely new. But true, never know.

Too much capital into something that another vehicle can do with much less capital investment.

Yeah they had some code to detect when it was being emission tested. They're supposed to be offering a "fix" for that soon, anyway after talking to the dealership we (as VW TDI owners) can decline the update.

Thing is, if you update your TDI you'll lose mileage, power, and adblue (DEF fluid) usage will likely go up.

So I won't be updating mine.

I never was either, but when you think about buying a used car from a dealership you're looking at between 4-7% interest + applicable fees plus a reduced warranty. I decided to go new because of 0% financing, and also full warranty which covers most of everything I would be worried about. The difference in the monthly payment was really minimal.

 

After all that shit VW went through this month over duping the diesel emissions lol.

Pretty neat though, especially at like 28K CAD. It's almost twice that brand new. Mileage on it?

i was going to ask if you bought this car brand new or used? do you plan to mod it? some dark tints and maybe debadge the back emblem besides the VW one and perhaps rims one day would make it look dope not that it already doesn't look nice!!
